I recently had a fantastic stay at a beachfront hotel in Sri Lanka. the owner, Nishan, and his team at Villa Paradise were incredibly helpful and made sure we had a wonderful experience. the rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a lovely view of the sea and the yard from the balconies. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast served on the beach. We also enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location, with the beach on one side and the market on the other. Villa Paradise provided an excellent stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Cons: Nothing to complain about, everything was great! 👍.

The staff was willing to help, I have no complaints whatsoever. Essentials that you need, such as an iron/ironing board, coffee/tea making facilities, and a work desk, were there. The location was central, unbeatable to a GOOD supermarket. Plus, it was a short walk to two bigger beaches, one for surfing and one for snorkeling, shops, bars and restaurants.

I had such a great time at this hotel by the beach! The owner was incredibly welcoming and arranged a delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast for us. The room was spacious with a big bed and sofa, and it was cleaned every day. I loved the big balcony where I could relax and enjoy the view. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay, and the overall service was top-notch.
All was absolutely fantastic, couldn't ask for more!

Had a wonderful stay at a cozy and welcoming beachfront hotel in Hikkaduwa. The rooms were comfortable with very good air conditioning and comfortable beds. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the restaurant zone and situated on the beach. The owner and staff were superb, providing excellent service and delicious food at the beach restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic experience in Hikkaduwa.
At times, it was hard to distinguish between staff and other people hanging around, which could be intimidating if you were alone. Wi-fi password, towels, and drinking glasses were not provided in the room initially and had to be sourced from the beach bar.

The staff was friendly and the basic amenities were well-maintained. The rooms had good air conditioning and the balcony provided a nice touch. If you're looking for a beachfront getaway, this hotel nails it. You can step out of your room and find yourself either on the beach or on a street with lots of bars and restaurants. the hotel staff is exceptional, treating you like family. the rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms are pristine. the breakfast, served beachside, is a standout with plenty of options. Plus, you can rent a scooter from the hotel to explore everything from down the street to the sea to the airport.
The water pressure is quite low, so you might be disappointed if you're a fan of powerful showers.
